Kelliçi: The arrest of Meta, a message for me and the deputies who denounce the majority

The Political Leader of the DP for the district of Tirana, Belind Kelliçi, spoke about the arrest of the chairman of the PL, Ilir Meta.

Kelliçi said that putting Meta in handcuffs is a message for him and for the deputies who denounce the mayor Erion Veliaj and the majority.

He declared on Erla Mëhilli's show that anyone who denounces is being hit.

"This show is a clear message not only for Ilir Meta, but for every oppositionist. It is a message for me, who denounces the affairs of Tirana Municipality every day, it is a message for Gaz Bardhi, and for every deputy of the Democratic Party who attacks the majority. It is for Meta, and for Berisha, and for Salianj, who is in prison today. It shows that it hits anyone who denounces. Having said that, if we had a normal arrest of Mr. Meta, it would be in his shame if he would have made these reactions without reason", emphasized Kelliçi./ CNA
