Persons convicted in absentia/ Manja shows how they can benefit from the Criminal Amnesty

The Minister of Justice Ulsi Manja, in the online meeting of the Law Commission, clarified the draft of the Criminal Amnesty, where he emphasized that even persons who are wanted and have been sentenced by a final decision can go to the relevant institutions and can benefit from the Amnesty Criminal.

He emphasized that these persons can benefit from the Criminal Amnesty, if they are a beneficiary category according to the amnesty law.

"If they are a beneficiary category according to the amnesty law, persons who evade justice and are convicted in absentia have the opportunity to voluntarily decide to go to the execution of the final criminal decision. It's their business. The law states that the persons who are convicted by a final decision and that the decision of the entry into force of this law are in our institutions and who are beneficiary categories, benefit from this law" - explained Manja. /CNA
