Journalist Elvi Fundo has today revealed the real reasons for which the stolen files from SPAK are being used. Fundo shared these details during an interview with journalist Blendi Fevziu, on the "Opinion" show.

Fundo said that these files were used for blackmail, corruption, spin, and to attract media attention.

 "These files are used for blackmail, for corruption, for spin, to attract media attention. We are used to these things, a big noise makes a bigger noise. If that MP were to come out and that investigation fell into the wrong hands and was heavily hyped, attention would be drawn to many things. If this businessman came out, they could fine him and take money," Fundo said.

Regarding the manner in which the information leaked, Fundo said he believes it happened due to an internal hack at SPAK and that this means it is a person working within the institution.

Fundo added that this reason is still being investigated.

"I believe that unfortunately it could be an internal hack at SPAK, meaning a person working within the institution hacked, entered the network and obtained documents."

It is unknown, they are already investigating.
