The Sports Program of the Democratic Party for Greater Albania was presented today in Tirana. The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, was also present.

Berisha emphasized that in the DP's plan, first of all, sports will be freed from the government mafia. In his speech, Berisha said that the DP aims to double the budget for sports.

Berisha stated that sports will have its own law and all resources, investments and sponsorships of the private sector in this field will be guaranteed by law.

Berisha added that the DP considers sports and sports education to be a very important sector and will be the main pillar of the education system.

"In the program that the Department of Sports has drafted, the national sports strategy, first of all, sports are freed from the government mafia.

In every dictatorship, politics is an ally of sports.

Sport will have its own law and all clean and transparent resources, all private sector investments and sponsorships will be guaranteed by law.

The budget for sports will be doubled.

Equal opportunities in relation to the state of sports clubs are necessary for a noble competition at home and abroad.

The government mafia in sports is also problematic in the deals that take place behind the scenes, in what are called sales and purchases.

The law will give you the strictest answer.

The DP considers sports and sports education to be very important sectors, inseparable from each other.

They will be the main pillar of our education system.

It is well known how important physical and psychological preparation is to an individual's success, and these are related to sports.

"Sports branches will find support and stimulus by being rewarded without militarizing them for all the merit they have," Berisha said. /CNA
