Prime Minister Edi Rama, in his column "Sy m'sy", said that Tirana will be one of the capitals that will have an office of the European Parliament. Rama has ironized the statements of the opposition that have called his government a narco-state.

The socialist leader expressed how it is possible for the EP to open an office in a narco-state. He also spoke about the May 16 Summit with world leaders, for which he said preparations have begun.

" Tirana becomes host to the European Parliament office. The EP office in Tirana, which will serve as a key point of contact between the EP and the national parliaments of civil society and all local partners in the Western Balkans. The EP that decides to open its office in a narco-state, how is that possible? On May 16, we started preparations for the biggest Summit. EU leaders have decided to come on May 15 for a dinner with the leaders of the Western Balkans. On May 16, the leaders of the entire continent will come, with the exception of Russia. On May 11, every Albanian should not only vote, but should vote in order not to lose a single second in the process of opening negotiations. We need stability, the rest is a lie, at this existential moment for Europe and for Albania ," said Rama./ CNA
