The former democratic deputy, Genc Pollo, has stated that the government is endangering the cancellation of visa liberalization for Albanians.

Through a post on Twitter, Pollo emphasizes that the visas of Albanians are at risk because of the project to grant Albanian citizenship to foreign and wealthy investors.

 "Issuing passports by a private company means that anyone from any country in the world can become an Albanian citizen, even from countries that are not friendly to us and the EU", he further emphasizes.

With the "florinja passports" Edi Rama is not only presenting the Republic as a villain state that violates agreements. He is leading to the cancellation of the great achievement of the DP government in v. 2010: liberalization of visas, i.e. free travel in Europe. Likewise, the issuance of passports by a private company means that pigs and sows from any country in the world can become Albanian citizens; even from countries unfriendly to us and the EU. It is enough for them to pay and grease the wheel. (this happened a few years ago in two or three EU countries, which urgently canceled it after corruption scandals broke out).
