The leader of the DP, Sali Berisha, has strongly condemned the initiative of the Albanian government for the "golden passport".

In a conference with journalists, Berisha said that it constitutes the third and last mechanism of Albania's transformation into a haven for drugs and crime.

"I am here today to declare on behalf of the DP that the "golden passport" of Edi Rama is simply a call: "Drug traffickers and criminals of the entire region, Europe and the world, unite in Albania!". PD declares that after the launch of the legalization of cannabis, the law on fiscal amnesty - that is, the legalization of dirty crime money coming in from abroad, the "golden passport" is the third and last mechanism of the trinomial of turning Albania into an earthly paradise of drugs, trafficking and regional European and world crime.
