Këlliçi warns: Jet Bank adds another obstacle to the integration

Democratic Party MP Belind Këlliçi continues his denunciation of Jet Bank.

Këlliçi emphasizes that with Jet Bank, another obstacle is being added to the process of Albania's integration into the EU.

The MP underlines that acts such as the non-transparent licensing of the digital bank Jet Bank will not go without consequences and that the EU requires a rigorous procedure in this regard.

Këlliçi warned that the government will soon receive an answer on this issue.

He emphasized that he will pursue this issue with dedication until he discovers the truth about who is behind the decision to license this bank.

“With Jet Bank, you are adding another hurdle to the integration process!

Acts such as the non-transparent licensing of the digital bank Jet Bank, unfortunately, will not go without consequences.

The European Union is demanding a rigorous procedure in this regard. The government is ignoring the citizens and the obligations it has to the public, but it will soon receive an answer on this issue.

"We will follow up and I am committed to uncovering the truth and who is behind this decision," Këlliçi declares.

Earlier in his speech in parliament, Këlliçi said that the digital bank licensed by the government, Jet Bank, would be a reason why the negotiations would be postponed.

"We are at the stage where we have opened the group chapters, we have also opened the internal market chapters. Remember, this digital bank that you have licensed 'Jet Bank', will be a reason for the negotiations to be postponed. Remember here, here we will be. And you never talk.

The speaker who spoke about the integration of Albania, in the imaginary space he has of the European Union, forgets that yesterday the Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, spoke, where she only mentioned Montenegro, Iceland, Moldova is mentioned, but Albania no longer exists. And this is a problem, this is a problem that concerns us all.

But we cannot continue here to lie to public opinion, to lie to citizens, to lie to each other, and to hide behind artifices, not even 10 seconds, not even 12 seconds, not even 30 seconds for discussion.

"We are here to solve, if necessary, all the problems that really affect citizens," declared Këlliçi.
