The deputy of the DP for the district of Fier, Luan Baçi, issued a warning, as he spoke about the release of former prime minister Sali Berisha from house arrest.

In an interview for CNA TV , Baçi said that the "war" with the government did not end with the release of Berisha.

He declared that the protests will continue, as he emphasized that all the victories of the DP and the opposition so far have been the result of resistance.

"Let me mention the international support and two very important resolutions of the CDI and the EPP in full support of the DP and in recognition of the grim political reality in our country and which the DP has been denouncing for years. The DP's achievements and victories were also the result of resistance, protests, and civil disobedience. The war is not over, the battles must and will continue. Rama doesn't back down, he doesn't know the rules of the game, he is a delusional person who has filled his mind that he is the right man to reign in Albania, so Edi Rama only understands the word strength, protest, resistance.
