Many citizens have come out to the protest organized in support of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.

Among them was the former mayor of Shkodra, Bardh Spahia, who said that it is time for reaction, for revolt and civil disobedience.

"The time is for reaction, for revolt and civil disobedience. We must return the rule of law and its proper functioning. Berisha, more than anyone else, has condemned the corrupt affairs of this government with facts"

"Oh Sali, oh hero, all of Albania loves you", the citizens present at the protest can be heard cheering.

Another Democrat said civil disobedience is closer than ever.

"The courts are being used according to the interest of Edi Rama. Revolt, civil disobedience is closer than ever. The decision to berisha is political. Berisha threatens Edi Rama's power. Very soon there will be protests in London, in Rome, in Athens, to show the whole world. The public opposition must be sensitized.
