The State Election Commissioner, Ilirjan Celibashi, held a press conference, where he discussed the work on counting votes from the parliamentary elections of May 11. In his speech, Celibashi emphasized that no further interruption of the counting process will be tolerated.

Celibashi said that the progress of the count was conditioned by the fatigue of the counters and members of the CEAZ.

Celibashi demanded that political parties take measures to change the members of the counting groups.

"The counting process went very well, but as in other elections, we have problems with the normal progress and continuity of this process. For the most part, this slow progress is conditioned by the fatigue of the counters and members of the CEAZ. Some of them were commissioners and when the voting ended, they also had to perform the duty of counters. The parties should take measures to change the members of the counting groups.
