"The counting has been completed in 22 municipalities"/ Celibashi:

The State Election Commissioner, Ilirjan Celibashi, held a conference this Monday and shared some new information regarding the work process so far after the May 11 elections. In his speech to the media from the Olympic Park in Tirana, Celibashi emphasized that the counting process in 22 municipalities of the country, referring to votes for electoral subjects, has officially been completed.

Celibashi said that from a documentation point of view, the counting process went well.

Celibashi called on political parties to take measures to replace members in the respective CEAZs.

"The process has been closed in 22 municipalities in the country. Regarding the CEAZs, there are 24 out of 93 that have completed the process for electoral subjects. They have decided to start counting for candidates tomorrow, due to long working hours. Work has resumed in 2 CEAZs in Fier. In Pustec, counting has been completed for both candidates and parties. The process in terms of documentation has gone well. Most of it is limited by the number of CEAZ members. I call on parties that have members in CEAZs to take measures to replace them. Regarding external voting, we have evaluated 13,946 envelopes out of the total envelopes received in total", said Celibashi./CNA
