The candidate for deputy and political leader of the Korça region, Niko Peleshi, voted this morning in the neighborhood where he lives, together with his wife. In a statement to the media after the vote, he stated that the process throughout Korça and the municipalities of the region has started normally, calmly and in a spirit of citizenship.

"As this day deserves. For me, May 11 is not just an ordinary election date, but an important day for the country, on the eve of the conclusion of a key stage of the journey towards the European Union," said Peleshi.

He emphasized that the next mandate is crucial for the implementation of the reforms agreed with the EU, while the electoral process is one of the culminating moments in the functioning of democracy.

"Let's end this day without incidents, with high standards and with dignified participation. Let's produce the best election report in our democratic history," said Peleshi.
