From the Road Strategy 2026-2030, to the Agreement with Ukraine/New government

The Council of Ministers, at its meeting held today, July 22, approved several decisions and draft laws.

More specifically, these changes were approved in several areas, as follows:

-Some changes and additions to Decision No. 722, dated 11.11.2019, of the Council of Ministers, “On determining the measure, criteria, procedures and documentation for the assessment and benefit of disability, personal assistant, as well as the responsible structures and their duties”, as amended.

-An addition to Decision No. 182, dated 26.2.2020, of the Council of Ministers, “On determining the measure, criteria, procedures and documentation for the assessment and benefit of payment for persons with disabilities, as well as personal assistants”, as amended.

-Proposal of the draft law "On the ratification of the agreement between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the government of the Republic of North Macedonia, on the establishment of joint border crossing points between the Republic of Albania and the Republic of North Macedonia and the conduct of joint border control activities".

-On determining the rules, procedures and amount of compensation in cases of injury and damage to the health of State Police employees, as well as on determining the rules and procedure for the treatment of family members of State Police employees who lose their lives in the line of duty.

-On some additions to Decision No. 751, dated 1.12.2022, of the Council of Ministers, “On special protection by the state for unemployed women with three or more children up to 18 years of age”.

-An addition to Decision No. 277, dated 18.6.1997, of the Council of Ministers, “On benefits from the status of the blind”, as amended.

-On taking measures to draft legislation in the criminal field, within the framework of the European integration process.

-Approval of the agreement between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on international road transport.

-Approval of the National Road Safety Strategy 2026 - 2030 and the action plan 2027 - 2029./CNA
