End of beach fences and construction during the tourist season/ Balla: Changes to the law will be discussed tomorrow in the Assembly

The Chairman of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, announced today that in Thursday's session, which is the last for this parliamentary session, amendments to the law "On Tourism" will be reviewed.

Through a video message posted on his social networks, Balla states that the new changes aim to prohibit the installation of fences, walls, barriers or any other physical obstacle, permanent or temporary, during the tourist season.

"Tomorrow we will vote in the Assembly to ban the installation of fences, walls, barriers or any other physical obstacle, permanent or temporary, that limits or impedes free public access to the seashore. Starting tomorrow, construction work in tourist areas during the tourist season will be suspended," Balla said. /CNA
