The Korça region was the last to close the presentation of the regions at the opening of the Socialist Party's election campaign. Initially, a traditional song was sung, followed by a speech by the region's leader, Niko Peleshi.

In his speech, Peleshi said that the campaign that opened today is not only for the socialists, but for all Albanians.

May 11, Peleshi said, will be the seal of membership in Europe with the Socialist Party and Edi Rama.

Regarding the number of mandates expected to be won on May 11, Peleshi said that the Socialists in Korça will win 7 of them.

" We shouted from the depths of national consciousness in this square in '90: "We love Albania like all of Europe." We socialists built, others after us destroyed. We found a helmsman, 12 years ago Rama took the helm. We worked in every corner.

Albania is Europe. Today we are in a campaign that is not only for the SP. From the heart of Albania we cheer and invite everyone without distinction for a European Albania. May 11 is the seal of membership with the SP and Rama. These elections belong to the Albanians. We will bring 7 mandates from Korça for the victory of the Socialist Party , "said Peleshi./ CNA
