This Friday, the Democrats' campaign for the May 11 elections was launched. The campaign was launched by FRPD Presidency member Orest Berberi. In an enthusiastic speech, Berberi said that on May 11, Albanians have the opportunity to cast down every shadow, so that the next day Albania will dawn blue.

Berberi said that the Democratic Party is not just a logo, a headquarters, a name, it is the heart of free Albanians!

Berberi added that on May 11, the DP will win, not for the party itself, but for all those who want to live in this country with dignity.

"Good evening, Albanians of free speech! Good evening, you steadfast resisters, who have never bowed down to injustice!"

Tonight we are here, all together, to embark on the path to glorious victory!

Tonight we are also here to thank each other, for the trust we have had and continue to have in each other!

We are here because no one can extinguish the light of freedom that was lit 34 years ago!

The one who once tried to destroy us from the ground up, who wanted to erase us as a party, as a history, as a voice...

Failed!

He failed because the Democratic Party is not just a logo, a headquarters, a name, it is the heart of free Albanians!

That is the strength of people who did not sell out, did not bow down, did not surrender!

It is the strength of youth that never fears.

It is the inspiration of youth that never fades.

It is the place where young men and women fight for conviction and ideals!

We were attacked…We were hit…But we rose again!

We came together, stronger, more determined and cleaner than ever before!

And here we are today:

The first! The first in spirit! The first for people! The first on the list, with the number 1!

We are the only ones. And as such, we don't care who we are facing, we will knock down every shadow!

With faith in God and love for the Fatherland!

On May 11th we win! Not for ourselves. But for all those who want to live in this country with dignity!

And on May 12th…Albania dawns blue! Like the sky that God created to be free! Like the sea that never knows chains!

Therefore, as right-wingers that we are, let's start this path on the right foot, so that we can have success!

Not with the left — so that we don't get mysybet!

Long live the Democratic Party! Long live the Youth of Albania!
