The candidate for deputy of the opposition coalition "PD-ASHM", Lefter Maliqi, in a statement to the media, has denounced a suspicious case in the Kuçova Municipality.

Maliqi said that a road worth millions of lek has been built in the middle of the Zdrava forest, while the city's residents are still without a road.

 

"I denounce with the utmost severity of the law, an electoral crime that occurred in the Municipality of Kuçova, in the middle of the forest, in a bar, with suspicious money, previously reported to SPAK. "Hani i Qerozit" in the middle of the Zdravë forest, in which a suspicious road worth millions of lek has been built, while the residents of the city of Kuçova and the villages are without a road. There were over 200 employees of the State administration, the Municipality of Kuçova, Hipoteka, health and, in turn, political leaders, candidates for deputies of the Berat District. The campaign leader, member of the Presidency of the Freedom Party and at the same time the Chairwoman of the Freedom Party for Kuçova, together with several others, went to the place of the electoral crime, "Hani i Qerozit" and were confronted by bodyguards, who committed verbal violence against these participants, against the leader and others and were not allowed to leave. They entered. A young man was even brought inside and was accompanied to take their cell phones with verbal violence. During the Administrative working hours, it was around 11:00 -12:00 noon. The Berat district prosecutor's office, the Kuçova police station, and the Berat Police Directorate were immediately notified and a criminal report was filed on our part, so that the film footage could be taken. This repeated electoral crime not only in the Kuçova municipality, but also in Çorovodë and in Berat, where health workers, education workers, are misused during official hours and in their premises for the "Rebirth" of crime.
