On Wednesday, the prime minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, will visit Albania. She will inspect the immigrant centers that are being built by the Italian government in the Albanian territory.

At 11:15, Meloni together with the Albanian Prime Minister will visit the area of ??Gjadri in Lezhë, which is covered by the Italy-Albania cooperation protocol on migration issues.

Then at 12:00 in the reception center in Shengjin, the Rama-Meloni conference will be held.

According to the agreement, the landing port will be Shengjini, where the first center will be set up that will serve for the identification and registration of refugees, while Gjadri will be the camp for their accommodation while waiting for answers to asylum requests.

The reception center will have a capacity of 3,000 places, while at the end of the evaluation procedures, the Italian authorities will remove the immigrants from the Albanian territory at their own expense./ CNA
