Albania has secured another bronze medal at the "Paris 2024" Olympic Games.

The wrestler representing the red and black flag, Islam Dudaev, triumphed in the third place final, in the category up to 65 kg.

Prime Minister Edi Rama says in a post on social networks that those who know how to rejoice should rejoice, while those who do not rejoice will be garlic that keeps the evil eye away. 

"Here is the second Olympic medal in our history. Who knows how to rejoice, let him rejoice with the vast majority of Albanians. Who does not know how to rejoice, let us recognize the merit of garlic that keeps the evil eye away from Albania", writes the head of to the government. 

Islam Dudaevi won against the Hungarian with the numbers 13-12. One point made the difference and gave victory to Albania.

We remind you that Albania won the first Olympic medal yesterday. Russian wrestler, who represents Albania, Chermen Valiev managed to get the bronze medal in the discipline of freestyle wrestling for the weight of 74 kg./ CNA
