The former coordinator of Democratic Persuasion, Astrit Patozi, criticized the opposition for the election result this evening.

Patozi said in an interview with Merita Haklajn that he was shocked by the opposition's lack of reflection.

"In 2019, we were the only contestants among the opposition forces, and then we received an undeserved stamp, and this is also shown by the delayed reaction of the opposition pulpit, but this belongs to history. We are in a depressing state and what hurts me the most is that there is no desire for reflection. All opposition forces have lost. What matters is that there are people in the opposition; who don't want to reflect, some people who want to reflect and people who run away without making a noise and these are the ones that hurt me the most because they are simple democracies who have not had a leading role that they may have even the last time they vote for the opposition. Lack of reflection indicates that the disease will recur. I'm not saying to find the culprit but the lack of reflection shocks me. Reflection is taking responsibility for loss, this is not a loss related to 2-3 factors,

The former coordinator of Democratic Persuasion stated that the excuses for the defeat, according to him, are made to maintain the status quo.

"I don't believe that anyone was confused when they voted, these are unpleasant elements that have weakened the electoral power, but not the arguments that justify the destructive result. People have had the opportunity to express their will, but these acrobatics and electoral tricks could serve as motivation for the electorate to take revenge on the injustices done to them. On Sunday you said that we are going towards victory and now you say you didn't have the seal. These statements are made to maintain the status-quo. If time waits and these people have too much life; that there are two roads; either the man who leads the people or the people from the man flees. If the person who takes responsibility does not leave, we will go to the second scenario", emphasized Patozi./ CNA.al
