The former Prime Minister Sali Berisha addressed the police with very strong accusations of cooperation with the gangs which, according to him, robbed the citizens of their lives.

At the press conference, Berisha made a series of accusations and denunciations about the gangs in different districts, where he says they paid the commissioners 20 million ALL.

Among other things, he said, DP exponents were threatened by bandits. He also denounced that there have been cases of assassinations in Vaun e Deja and in Lezhë.

" The May 2023 electoral farce, one of the most ugly and criminal aspects was the fusion of gangs, murderers and traffickers with the State Police in their terroristic, criminal action against voters and citizens.

The gangs became one or were entirely under the umbrella of the police. For them, the narco-police not only did not take measures, but they engaged in shameful stagings for the opposition, at a time when trucks with euros were available and circulated on the side of the narco-government against the voters.
In Shkodër, our DP exponents were called by thugs, threatened in the wildest way by them, they were offered up to 20 million lek per commissioner, from 10 thousand euros per commissioner.
In Lezha, under the protection of the Lezha Police, the gangs distributed money and terror throughout the night in different areas of the Lezha district. Somewhere, somewhere they are filmed and there you can see the cars of the gangs and the police car that stayed on the other side to guarantee their criminal activity.

The gangs, in Peshkopi, were under the protection of Balluke, who was associated with the bandits. And from Ymer Lala's hotel, he directed their electoral banditry operations.
