KAS fines the mayors of Kamza and Vora/ They made propaganda with the social networks of the municipalities

The Complaints and Sanctions Commission fined today the two socialist mayors of Kamza and Vora, Rakip Suli and Blerim Shera.

Suli and Shera are accused of having used the official pages on "Facebook" of the municipalities they run, to make propaganda repeatedly during their electoral campaign.

Since the Electoral Code prohibits the use of public resources for party campaign of the candidates, they were fined 100,000 ALL.

These two mayors were denounced for using the official websites of the municipalities by the KRIIK organization during the election campaign.

The KAS decision comes just a few days after the May 14 elections, where both of these mayors were reconfirmed in office with a deep result.

Meanwhile, other socialist mayors were previously fined for the same issue./ CNA.al
