With 938 votes in favor and 55 against/ Sali Berisha is confirmed as Chairman of the Democratic Party

Sali Berisha has been voted as the Chairman of the Democratic Party. This Saturday, December 2, 2023, the National Re-establishment Assembly convened.

All the delegates present at the Re-establishment Assembly have voted for the vote of confidence of the President of the DP, Sali Berisha.

After the process of counting the votes, it turned out that Berisha was elected with 938 votes in favor.

"The process was closed transparently. The number of voters according to the voters who were present was 1203, the number of voters 1000, from which 7 ballots were invalid. 938 voted in favor while 55 delegates voted against. It turns out that Sali Berisha has been confirmed at the head of the Democratic Party of Albania", informed Izi Kaso./ CNA
