The mayor of Kamza, Rakip Suli, has finished his testimony at the SPAK, where he stayed for more than an hour, after being reported by the residents of the municipality he leads.

Suli refused to talk about the charges brought against him, but stated that he will let justice do its job.

"Let justice do its job because it is giving hope to Albanians. It is our luck that we have this justice that gives hope to Albanians and let me continue my work in the service of the citizens" , he said in a statement to journalists.

Asked if he will appear again at SPAK, the socialist mayor said that he will go whenever he is called.

" Whenever they want, I will come ", declared Suli, while not commenting on the question of why he did not show up the first time.

We remind you that the socialist mayor was accused by the residents of Kamza, after the audit of KLSH. 

Suli is accused of the criminal offenses of "Exercising illegal influence on persons exercising public functions", "Abuse of duty", "Violation of the equality of participants in public tenders or auctions" and "Passive corruption of persons exercising public functions".

So far, 4 officials have been summoned to the Special Prosecutor's Office. After the investigations, it turned out that there are several cases of abuses with the compensations of the reconstruction fund with the practices of Ds1 Ds2 Ds3 Ds4 Ds5./  CNA
