The Assembly has voted with 75 votes in favor of removing the immunity of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, which paves the way for SPAK's request to arrest the MP.
Today's session lasted only 8 minutes and the speaker of the Assembly, Lindita Nikolla, hurried to vote on the removal of Berisha's immunity.
Meanwhile, opposition MPs threw cigarettes and overturned chairs. Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha himself refused to take the floor in the Assembly, given by Lindita Nikolla.
SPAK is now expected to act on the security measure against the former prime minister. /CNA
