The Democratic Women's League of Albania (LDGSH) organized the elections for Chairperson in the branch of LDG Saranda.
Candidates for president were the ladies Brunilda Aliko and Laureta Çeçi.
At the end of the voting and counting process, the commission announced Laureta Çeçi, president of LDG Sarandë.
Laureta Çeçi comes from an honorable Girokastrite family, persecuted by the dictatorship and expropriated.
She studied violin and graduated in 1992 from the University of Gjirokastra as a teacher with high results.
She has been engaged in the first student and PD member gatherings in Gjirokastër.
After 3 years of emigration, she lives and runs her own private business in Saranda since 1997. Active member of Saranda Democratic Party in group section 1./ CNA.al
