Against the joint candidate for Tirana?/ Lapaj: When I extended the hand of cooperation to the opposition, I received mud and attacks

The leader of the 'Albania Becomes' Movement, Adriatik Lapaj, has reacted regarding the possibility of joining the opposition camp to run with a single candidate in the race for the Municipality of Tirana.

In a show on A2CNN, Lapaj seems not to easily forget the fact that he did not join the opposition in a pre-election coalition.

Lapaj stated that the great unity against the system should have occurred before the May 11 elections, thus avoiding the alternative of a joint candidate.

"We are discussing with all our structures and we will have an official opinion on this, but unity was needed against the system. You remember before the elections that I extended the hand of cooperation to everyone and received mud and attacks from behind, to the point of betrayal. But which was more important, to break the system and fight Edi Rama, or to fight for the Municipality for a year that is the mandate there. How can you win the municipality, having him in the government there. Now we will speak the truth?", - said Lapaj./ CNA
