Lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu has revealed the reasons why Prime Minister Edi Rama has chosen to take a stance in favor of Erdogan's government in Turkey.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, Spahiu stated that Berisha, on the other hand, has a pro-Greece diplomatic approach, which he also considered a key partner in Albania's integration process.

Spahiu said, among other things, that Rama has built a Washington-Berlin-Istanbul support.

" We have a division between the position and the Albanian opposition. The socialist government has positioned itself in favor of the government in Turkey, which means in favor of Erdogan.

On the other hand, the Albanian opposition, represented by Berisha and Meta, have openly positioned themselves against Erdogan, considering neo-Ottomanism a danger in the Balkans.

Berisha said in an interview two months ago that Albania's main partner in the integration process cannot be Turkey, but should be Greece.

So there is an ideological, diplomatic division of the concepts that Rama and Berisha have in diplomatic relations. Berisha sees Greece and Athens as "Noah's ark", which can save him from the ocean where he is between Great Britain, the United States of America and Europe, and Greece is left to establish diplomatic relations.
