"Proud that I am not leaving as a servile or a sycophant"/ Sula

Democratic Party MP Dashnor Sula delivered his final speech at Thursday's plenary session, as his mandate ends.

In his speech, Sula emphasized that he feels proud to leave parliament, not as a servile or sycophantic.

"This is the last session for the next four years. I feel proud and say that I leave this parliament not as a servile or a sycophant."

I have denounced and raised my voice about the lack of infrastructure in the Peqin and Elbasan municipalities. I have denounced the lack of subsidies for agriculture. I have denounced the emptying of villages in Albania.

I single-handedly denounced oil smuggling. For all of the above, I had concrete figures. This has helped me as a "rural" MP. I will continue every day, as long as I have breath, to be the voice of those who believe in me.

I will be close to the citizens who have supported me. This is not a farewell, but a gratitude for the four years we have spent.
