Constructive dialogue between the opposition and the majority is a key factor in Albania's progress towards the EU.

This is what the General Director of the European Commission for Enlargement and Neighborhood, Gert Jan Koopman, said after a meeting with the representative of the opposition, Jorida Tabaku, where they discussed the role of the Parliament in the European integration process.

In his reaction on the X social network, referring to the recent situation created in the Assembly, Koopman appeals for dialogue between the majority and the opposition and states that constructive political dialogue with the opposition is key to progress in the EU reform agenda.

We discussed Albania's path to EU integration and the role of the parliament in the negotiation process.
