TIMS Investigation Commission/ Berisha, Basha and Bardhi are added as witnesses

The Investigative Commission for the TIMS system has compiled a plan that it will start implementing from tomorrow when the next meeting is held at 12:00.

The chairman of the commission, Ervin Salianji, has agreed with the proposals of the SP, putting the names of Sali Berisha, Lulzim Basha and Gazment Bardhi on the list of witnesses that will be called before the investigator.

The list also includes the name of Prime Minister Edi Rama, Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla and his predecessor, Bledi Çuçi, names that were requested by the opposition to testify before the parliamentary investigative commission.

Sali Berisha, already deposed with his demands to participate in plenary sessions, is not expected to leave the house where he is under house arrest since December 31, 2023 to go to the premises of the Assembly.

"The Commission reserves the right in the Investigation Plan to call to testify any other person or functionary who has knowledge about the object of the investigation, and who is involved in this matter from the examination of the official documentation", says the letter signed by Salianji .

The investigation is considered open and the Commission will complete its activity within the deadline set by the decision of the Assembly on July 21, 2024./ CNA
