The Secretary General of the Socialist Party, Blendi Klosi, spoke today about the changes expected from the new parliamentary life, which begins in September, following the results of the May 11 elections.

Klosi focused on the electoral code, which according to him requires codification and that the issue not be left to the last minute.

Regarding the SP's result from the parliamentary elections, Klosi described it as a support that, beyond the numbers, brings great power for reflection.

 "The electoral code requires consensus. It would be very good if, with the start of the parliamentary session, we had an agreed electoral code so that things would not be left to the last minute, because parliamentary and political life has shown that last-minute solutions always create anomalies in the process and agreement in this process. This new parliamentary life will also be successful thanks to the contribution of the deputies who have been part of the Albanian parliament together with the energy of the new deputies, but without a doubt with a consolidated parliamentary life, with consolidated parliamentary structures. I do not believe that in parliament, the number of mandates does not prove the parliamentary strength, but the strength of the support you have from the people and the SP does not take this large vote as an advantage for cardboard strength, but as a greater strength to analyze itself and the challenges it has", - said Klosi. /CNA
