The head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, spoke about the May 14 elections and the preparations together with the Democratic Party.

In an interview for the media, he asserted that the opposition will surely go to victory on May 14.

Regarding the decision of the CEC for the PD of Alibeaj, he said that the comments about Basha were made a long time ago and that the people spoke about the Democratic Party on March 6.

" The issue of registering candidates is a technical matter. The opposition will participate in the elections. We have an agreement with the Democratic Party that has been made public for a long time. For me, it is important that in 60 days we will go to the elections. The coalition has been signed for months. The opposition is heading towards a historic victory. It is the rooting out of the most corrupt regime.

The comments about Basha were made in time, I don't want to get into this issue, for DP it was resolved by the people of March 6, the court also resolved it, it is an issue that no longer exists politically, morally and electorally.
