The chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has accused Prime Minister Edoi Rama, as he spoke about the candidates for the municipal councils.

Meta said that Rama has filled the lists with subordinates, unlike the opposition, which has personalities on its lists.

He stated in a television appearance that the head of the government wants the advisers to sign the decisions that he himself takes.

“Atë prap e kanë vënë të parën është një zëvendësministre, vartëse e Edi Ramës. Nuk është problemi i saj, është rëndësia që iu jep Edi Rama këshillave, ato i ka thjesht për të firmosur ‘fët e fët’, asgjë tjetër të jesh i sigurt. Kush është në krye të listës sonë në Tiranë, Ilir Alimehmeti, e njihni ju? Ka njeri që nuk e njeh? Është personalitet i shëndetësisë, një figurë mjaft humane, pranë qytetarëve dhe gjatë krizës së pandemisë dhe në vazhdimësi por edhe figurë qytetare në mbështetje të kauzave të drejta qytetare. Kemi një gazetare shumë të njohur Beti Njuma, përfaqësuese e shoqërisë civile, një përfaqësuese e lirisë së medias, e një televizioni që është intimiduar seriozisht nga ky regjim.
