The mayor of Tirana and the SP candidate in the May 14 elections, Erion Veliaj, ridiculed the opposition for the statements made during the last few days.

While presenting the new plan for cleaning the capital, Veliaj mentioned the promises of the opposition to minimize citizens' expenses by offering free services.

He said that during the time when the DP had the municipality, the cleaning workers were not even paid social security and the cleaning budget was 60% in debt.
