The Observer of the Coalition for Reforms, Integration and Consolidated Institutions, Antuela Male has revealed that the Socialist Party in 2021 has spent approximately $30,000 to do the electoral campaign on social media.

Male in her interview for "Euroneës Albania" emphasized that these expenses are undeclared and no type of reporting has been done on them.

"In 2021, we have verified all expenses incurred for political purposes, by the candidates of the electoral subjects. A significant part of the candidates did not declare the actual expenses incurred on social media. We also noticed an even more serious breach in our judgment, which was the shadow campaign carried out on social media. An amount of something more than 30 thousand dollars was spent by 4 different pages on the social network Facebook, in function of the socialist party. All the posts made by these 4 pages, which were worth somewhere around 30,000 dollars, actually carried out an electoral campaign for the socialist party, with sponsored advertisements which at the end of the day remained unreported in any kind of report, she said./ CNA . al
