Chief Democrat Sali Berisha, during the presentation of Fier's candidate, Edvar Kodheli, has listed to the government and Prime Minister Edi Rama the cases that are open in the Court of Arbitration.

During his statement, Berisha said that 156 million dollars have been allocated from the state budget to pay the fines.

According to him, the government has 12 other open cases in the Court of Arbitration and 5-6 other cases in Switzerland and the total fine for Albania amounts to 1.5 billion dollars, that is, more than 2 years of Albanian salaries.

"This person has pocketed justice. Go to the courts. The citizen does not win any trial. Now he thinks that the international courts are like the courts of Tirana and says he will leave the International Court. Try it once. 156 million have been allocated from the budget to pay the fines we received in arbitration. I guarantee you that with 12 other cases in the same court and 5-6 other cases in Paris and Switzerland, Albania's fine will be at least 1.5 billion dollars.
