The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, told the majority in today's plenary session that the flamingos were sentenced to death and that they built the small point in Butrint, destroying cultural heritage.
Berisha said that continuing the session without Rama's resignation or a motion for debate is an act of treason.
Further, Berisha said that citizens' protests cannot be ignored, as they have very fair demands.
" You sentenced the flamingos to death. You built the small point in Butrint, with which you destroyed the cultural heritage and national parks, forgetting that they are not only the wealth of Albanians and Europe. I think that continuing the session without Edi Rama coming here to resign or to develop a motion for debate is an act of treason."
Who is showing himself to be a fascist or a Stalinist now, let the Albanian citizens judge that. You cannot ignore the Albanian citizens now, they have very fair demands.
"You will run away like mice, but it's better now with laws, to remove Edi Rama ," said Berisha.
