Kelliçi shows the "key" to victory / My advantage over Veliaj

The candidate of the Democratic Party for the Municipality of Tirana, Belind Kelliçi, has revealed the "key" that will lead him to victory.

During an interview with the journalist Blendi Fevziu, Këlliçi said that what favors him over the current mayor Erion Veliaj is that he has not previously held important positions in the government.

The DP candidate also said that the slogan of his campaign is "The city of Tirana in your hands", as he emphasizes that for the first time there is a candidate who has never signed any corruption or illegality.

Blendi: Në raport me Veliajn ju nuk keni njohjen që ai ka. Edhe për shkak të karrierës të gjatë që ka, vjen si ministër. Jeni i vetmi kandidat për kryetar bashkie që vjen pa pasur një post. Që prej vitit 1996 e në vijim të gjithë sfidantët kanë qenë ish-ministra, ish-zëvendëskryeministra.

 

Kelliçi: This is an extraordinary advantage because I have the slogan of the campaign "The city of Tirana in your hands", the change in your hands, and I have based everything on the concept of hands in the sense that for the first time there is a candidate who has clean hands, I have never signed any corrupt affair or any illegality. This for the citizen who follows us is an extraordinary advantage and is in the interest of the citizens. The reason that I am not as well known as Veliaj is that I am not on TV all day, I am not doing a show, I am not in every media and I go to activities where the mayor comes out in an apron to distribute soup. I am a hard working person, I am very dedicated and because of my education in the USA I consider myself to be a good manager with a working back team./CNA
