The former president was an associate of the State Security/ Metaj: His file should have been opened

The deputy of the Socialist Party, Ilir Metaj, is convinced that the chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, was a collaborator of the State Security.

In an interview for "Euroneës Albania", he said that Meta should not have reported to the File Authority, but that his file should be opened.

"My personal conviction, I am 100% convinced that the former president was an associate of the State Security. Although I haven't seen the file, just his reaction when the news broke and his metamorphosis day after day with this news, I believe he is extremely guilty.

These are desperate actions of someone who is innocent, and the minimum should have said that we should not go to the prosecutor's office at all, but to say that his file should be made public. If someone is clean, there is no need to be afraid", he stressed./CNA.al
