He called them delusional/ To Berisha-Rama: Instead of being held accountable,

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, reacted sharply this Sunday to the statements of Prime Minister Edi Rama, who, among other things, labeled citizens who have been protesting in recent days as delirious.

According to Berisha, Rama did not use his public appearance to clarify concerns related to the planned investment in Zvërnec, but to threaten, belittle and attack thousands of citizens who are demanding his resignation.

Full message:

Edi Rama used his regular Sunday monologue today to attack, threaten, and belittle tens of thousands of citizens who have been protesting for a week in the most powerful protests against Edi Rama, demanding his resignation, demanding the cancellation of his decisions which are a major threat to the environment in Albania and ultimately disrupt the investment climate in the country.

He again tried to accuse foreign powers, reminded us of the dark times of the dictatorship when the whole world was against us. He invented imaginary enemies and tried to argue for a hybrid war against Albania.

The truth is that these protests are based, first and foremost, on the zero-transparency actions of Edi Rama and his government in investments in Zvërnec.

I say with zero transparency because apart from the figures, several billion investments, he never undertook to provide the slightest transparency on the issue of ownership, on the issue of the environment, on the obligations arising from the process of Albania's membership in the European Union in accordance with the European Commission's 'Natura 2000' directive.

In his monologue, he did not say a single word, because Edi Rama signed the development permit in violation of the law, in the presence of judicial conflicts between the parties over the property.

He did not say a single word, whether he, in the obligation, in the major obligation of the process of Albania's integration into the European Union that derives from the 'Natura 2000' directive, has made an appropriate assessment there, has made a strategic assessment there, has made an environmental assessment for this entire project. On the contrary, he told the international media that there is no project.

On the other hand, a development permit can never be approved without a project or at least a draft idea.

He did not explain what directives he gave for adapting to the landscape.

So he didn't explain anything except the hybrid war, the threats and cynicism towards the protesters, and his boast that as omnipotent he doesn't ask for anything.

He tried to deceive Albanians by assuming the presidency of the European Forestry Association at a time when we are the country with the most destroyed, burned, and unprotected forests in Europe.

This should evoke something like the price they received in Mexico for the food sent by Ramiz Ali at a time when two-thirds of the population was chronically hungry.

So, Sunday's monologue was another Sunday hoax, but this time characterized by unprecedented cynicism, unrestrained arrogance towards citizens and young people in protest./CNA
