Only one in three Albanians (34.5%) think that justice reform has so far gone well. Almost as many citizens (31.4%) have a negative view.

Judging by the party that voted in 2021, it turns out that 60% of those who voted for the Socialist Party, have a positive assessment of the results of the reform so far.

Among Democratic Party voters in the last election, more than half (52.6%) view the reform results negatively.

More Albanians view the justice reform positively this year (34.5%), compared to a year ago (24.8%).

What do Albanians think about justice reform?

The increase in appreciation for the effects of justice reform in general has affected all Albanians, regardless of party affiliation.

Citizens were also asked about the policy contribution to justice reform. Most of them (46.9%) positively assess the contribution of the government, as well as neutral (49.9%) that of the opposition.

Albanians (52.9%) also view the role of US Ambassador Yuri Kim in justice reform positively.

The findings are from the public opinion survey by Barometer in Euronews Albania, conducted by MBR and Data Centrum at the national level with 1000 face-to-face interviews in the family, on May 23 - June 4.
