The mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj

The mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, will appear this Tuesday at 10:00 at the Special Prosecutor's Office.

Veliaj will be questioned about the incinerator file by BKH investigators.

Veliaj's appearance at SPAK comes at a time when the thieving directors have been arrested for two big affairs, the incinerators and the "5D" file.

The questioning of Veliaj was previously warned by the journalist Elvi Fundo.

Initially, Veliaj denied it, but then, on the screen of one of the media outlets paid by the incinerators, the mayor admitted that he would go to SPAK.

Thus, he himself confirmed that the news reported by journalist Fundo was true. Veliaj received several calls from the Special Prosecutor's Office, but he tried to avoid them due to his health problems and his agenda outside Albania.

It is now a fact, Veliaj will go to SPAK today and give an account for the affair of the century, as he has been accused of being the de facto owner of the Tirana incinerator./ CNA
