Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has reacted to the "Report" program of Rai3 in which the agreement for immigrants between Albania and Italy was criticized.

In a speech held in Pescara during the convention in which she announced her candidacy in the European elections on June 8 and 9, she emphasized that Prime Minister Edi Rama was lynched after helping Italy. 

Even according to the Italian Prime Minister, Albania appeared in the documentary as a naro-state and said that it stands in solidarity with the neighboring country, thus defending Edi Rama. 

"Rama was lynched for helping Italy. I stand in solidarity with Rama and the Albanian people. We made an agreement with Edi Rama, the Prime Minister of Albania, to open two centers for the reception of immigrants from Italy. But the Italian left, instead of thanking Edi Rama , which reacted in the name of European solidarity, even more so, the Italian public service, RAI3, which in one of its editions painted the whole of Albania as a kind of narco-state. I send our support and solidarity to Edi Rama and the entire Albanian people, why they were lynched, just because they tried to protect our nation," said Meloni./CNA
