Prime Minister Edi Rama has shared a message today for the May 11 elections.

In a post on social media, Rama published a painted image in the shape of a hand, with the appearance of a bird that usually symbolizes transformation.

Rama writes that this is the moment to get out of the party trenches and distance himself from the swamp, as he calls the majority.

Rama has requested support for the continuation of Albania's negotiations with the EU.

Rama says that Albanians should get it into their heads that beyond parties is the country's European membership.

"Get out of the party trench, leave the shirt with the logo of the Swamp or the small marshes around it, join the majority of the people on May 11, and by voting for me and the SP, you too support the national negotiating team for Albania's entry into the European Union and get it into your head that Albania in the EU is beyond left and right," Rama writes. /CNA
