"The healthcare system has failed"/ Berisha: Rama did not keep his

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, denounced today the state of healthcare services in Albania. Berisha also focused at length on the problems with medicines.

In a statement to the media from the DP headquarters, Berisha emphasized that Albanian citizens are paying for this problem.

Berisha stated that Rama came to power with the promise of free healthcare, which he did not keep.

The leader of the Democrats also denounced the problem with medicines, which according to him are of the poorest quality and most ineffective.

Berisha said that numerous problems are observed in many public hospitals.

"Citizens pay the highest fine for their healthcare."

Meanwhile, Edi Rama came to power 12 years ago with the promise of free healthcare.

Today, it deals with everything else, except the major failure in healthcare.

Today, Albanians die twice as often as EU citizens from heart problems.

Mortality is 3 times higher than in surrounding countries.

Albania faces a supply of medicines of the poorest quality and most ineffective.

The EU-style drug law was replaced and today Albanians buy medicines that are beyond all standards.

Tragic evidence has come to light about the Oncology Hospital, which is a shelter where people die from a lack of medication.

Many of the devices have been out of service for 3 years.

Inappropriate medications are given.

Or the medication is divided into several parts.
