The deputy of the Socialist Party, Luljeta Bozo, has spoken today about the protest of the lecturers, who have submitted several demands, including salary revision.

Bozo is back in 2004, when she was a lecturer at the Polytechnic University and joined the professorate strike for higher education reform and salary revision.

“Kishte shumë gjëra që nuk shkonin në atë kohë për funksionimin normal të universitetit. Bëmë një kërkesë fillimisht të cilën nuk na e morën në konsideratë dhe ndaj u detyruam që atje në shtëpinë tonë tek universiteti t’i shprehnim si të thuash “botërisht” kërkesat tona, të cilat u morën parasysh. Kishte ndryshim pagash edhe ndryshime në përcaktimin e një fondi për kërkim shkencor sepse nuk bëhet shkenca pa investim”, u shpreh ajo.

Ndërsa për protestën e ditëve të sotme, deputetja pranoi se pedagogët duhet të paguhen më mirë, por deklaroi se nuk janë mundësitë të realizohen të gjitha kërkesat e tyre.

“Kërkesa mund të kemi shumë dhe mund të jenë të drejta, por duhet të shikojmë se nuk jemi të pandarë nga shoqëria dhe populli. Pra ne kërkojmë shumë gjëra… por a i kemi mundësitë t’i realizojmë? Nuk i kemi!”, vijoi Bozo.

The socialist, followed the same line as Prime Minister Edi Rama, as she said that not all teachers should be paid the same.

The MP requested that the lecturers sit down, brainstorm and make projects.

"The pedagogue should not only be a teacher, but also a scientist. They kill your mind, sit down and make projects!", said Bozo./ BA - CNA.al
