Dialogue/ Rama: Kosovo should fulfill its duties, Serbia should never do so

Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke about the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue in a television interview.

Rama declared that for him, Kosovo has won the war, but it must win the peace. The socialist leader stated that Kosovo should not look to Belgrade at all, but rather do its duties to become part of the EU table.

Rama further said that it doesn't matter what Serbia does, Kosovo must move forward.

" For me, Kosovo has won the war but it must win peace. To win peace means to settle at the table of the democratic community. That's all. To do this, it must not look at Belgrade at all, it must not think about Serbia at all, it must not care about what the Serbs say or claim, but it must do its own duties. It must do its own duties for itself and for its own future, not for the Serbs. And these are related to the dialogue but they are related to the European Union and the United States then, which means that if there are 'x' points to be fulfilled at the dialogue table, Kosovo should do them unilaterally and move forward. It doesn't matter at all what Serbia does, let it never do them, there is no problem ", said Rama./ CNA
