Democrats in protest, Basha visiting Rama after the operation

CNA learns from sources close to the former leader of the PD, Lulzim Basha, that yesterday he went to visit Prime Minister Rama's house, after the latter's discharge from the hospital .

The first source emphasized that Lulzim Basha stayed for about an hour in Rama, using the visit for health reasons and for a discussion of political current affairs and the upcoming parliamentary elections.

Basha is known to have guaranteed the prime minister, his support and stance once again in favor of the agreement of May 17, 2017, which unites them in governance, in case Rama does not secure 31 mandates.

There are still no details of the meeting, but an official source close to the government confirmed that Lulzim Basha had a one-hour conversation with Rama at the latter's home.

The Democratic Party has announced a protest on Monday at 18.00. Democratic leaders, including former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, have warned of "civil disobedience" and have kept the scenarios secret.

The former leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, on the other hand, has not made any reaction in support of the protest, clearly behaving as the newest ally of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
